BusinessOptix, a leading provider of business modeling and process design tools, today announces that Ramboll, the international engineering and design consultancy, has implemented BusinessOptix as its strategic process modeling platform.
Previously Microsoft Visio and a number of home grown tools are used for process design.
Initially Ramboll will use BusinessOptix to support documenting a number of back office processes and rolling out the new European General Data Protection Regulation. Taking a phased approach, Ramboll then plan to use BusinessOptix to design and deliver multiple processes across the organization.
“Effective process design and management are crucial to ensuring that our internal and client-facing initiatives deliver,” said Christiane Johansen, Director Global Business Applications, Ramboll. “By enabling us to capture and document our processes, while supporting the introduction of standardized methodologies and ways of working, BusinessOptix will play an important role in helping us achieve our aims. Furthermore it will help us to structure organization and governance overviews in our company setup.”
“Ramboll’s implementation of BusinessOptix starts a great journey for them and us,” said Peter McInally, CEO, BusinessOptix. “Over the coming months and years we are looking forward to helping them deliver across multiple initiatives in the Nordics and across the globe.”
Ramboll was founded in 1945 in Denmark. Today, we employ 13,000 engineering, design and consultancy specialists.
